I know that I need to use my Spanish to keep it fluent, and it is not economically feasible at this point to travel abroad. So I have a cheaper solution. Find native Spanish speakers locally and engage in conversations.

I went out with friends yesterday and I noticed that the people next to me were speaking Spanish. I went out of my comfort zone and introduced myself. We spent an hour speaking Spanish and English – both of us needed practice in each others language. I practiced Spanish tenses that I have not used since studying in Costa Rica. It was refreshing.
