Track This Now

Track this Now – allows you to search for topics in the news on a global scale.

You enter the search term and the Google search engine looks for international news articles that matches the term. The dots on the map show which countries have an article or articles matching. The results will also show up in the right margin.

In the example I typed in World Cup. I think it will be interesting to track the international articles as the World Cup gets closer, especially since it is seen as a much more significant event in other countries. I am going to embed the link in my wiki for students to see. They will have the chance to comment on the articles.
