Podcasting through PodBean

Listen to this episode

The podcast was relatively easy to create using Audacity (which is FREE and a great tool). There are many sites dedicated to Copyright Friendly music. With the newest version of Audacity, the music can auto ducking so the speaking is clear. I tried it, but I liked doing it by hand better.

I hope to include more listening activities for the students to do outside of class. I can write out a quick script for the activity in less than 5 minutes. If I was not such a perfectionist, I could do the recording in the same amount of time. However, logically it takes me about 15 minutes to record with Audacity. I did have to install a LAME package in order to save the audio file as a MP3. This gets uploaded into PodBean.
