Using Glogster with Students

Starting to use Glogster Edu with my class felt slightly overwhelming at first. I had played around with Glogster on my own, but did not feel comfortable with much of the content. So I registered with Glogster Edu. As a teacher I was able to request 150 student accounts that are all connected to my teacher account (I could have gotten more if necessary).

They each are assigned random usernames and passwords. I created a Master List and had them copy & paste the username and password into Glogster the first time they logged in. Students are able to edit the name that appears as well as the password. Directions are in the video above.

The students had to be provided with detailed instructions and the structure of the activity. They knew they were being graded on the written content, but they also had time to play with the images and the way it looked. In less than two class periods, my 6th graders had some impressive work.
