Butns

Easy, quick, awesome tool – perfect for quick experimentation on a Saturday. Butns allows you to hyperlink a single word/phrase but give the reader multiple choices of what to do with the link.

Since I keep a daily class blog, this will be an amazing tool next year. Yes, in a dorky way I am excited for the possibilities next year before this year has officially ended.

Example:

Normal hyperlink = Mexico

Butns hyperlink = Mexico

… well that did not go as planned. I’ve tried multiple times and the link just goes to the Butns website.  However, I tested it in the blog I use with my class and it worked great – that is the image to the right. So I guess WordPress does not play nice with the code for Butns; this is not the first time WordPress has made something challenging or impossible.

Here is the video that shows how Butns is SUPPOSED to work.
