ISTE Question

I am not worried about my presentations (yet) – but I have started to wonder what I need to pack. I’ve been to conferences where people are very professionally dressed; I’ve been to conferences where jeans and a T-shirt is the norm. Where does ISTE fall on the spectrum? If I am going to be living out a suitcase for 5 days, I need to be prepared ahead of time.

So right now, my concern for the conference: What should I wear?

  1. Excited to be going to ISTE too! What are you presenting on?

I found this on the ISTE Connect site

” for women, pack a couple pairs of flats and wear your sneakers when you travel. … Flats, especially city walker ballet style flats, fold up well and can be worn with skirts and dresses as well as jeans and shorts. Finally, mix and match: a couple shells and t-shirts, two cardigans in neutral colors, one skirt, one dress, one pair of jeans, one pair of khakis or dress pants, sneakers and black and brown flats. That’s plenty to get you through the conference and will even leave enough room in your suitcase to bring back all that schwag from the exhibitors.”

Now I can pack with confidence 🙂
