ISTE Socials

The expectation that everything posted with the hash tag #ISTE13 will be life altering is unrealistic. Yes, you should Tweet responsibility, but that does not mean abstaining from Twitter when not in official sessions.

There currently is an outpouring of hostility on Twitter over the After Parties at ISTE. The harsh tweets have criminalized the natural inclination for people to be social. It is a shame if people avoid the after parties because of the perceived negativity. These are tremendous learning opportunities.  I shared my thoughtful reflection on the ISTE Connects Blog.
